Integrative medicine combines mainstream medical therapies with complementary and alternative therapies to provide himane care to patients, families, and the community.

Students choose films that are to be shown on Monday at 5pm, twice a month, in the College of Medicine.

Flying Samaritans Club

This club flies down to Baja, Mexico each month for weekend trips to provide medical services to an underprivileged pueblo in Baja, Mexico.  We travel with numerous physicians along with medical students who work as helpers and interpreters.

This club promotes awareness of and sensitivity to LGBT issues in healthcare, and provides a forum for the discussion of issues realting to the care of LGBT patients and of issues affecting LGBT medical students, residents, and physicians.

This is a local chapter for a national organization that focuses on issues related to Latino medical students and the Latino population.

Medical Humanities Programs

Students organize the production of The Harmony literary arts magazine composed of submissions from the entire Arizona Health Science Center Community and its affiliates including health science students, residents, fellows, faculty, as well as patients.  Students organize the prize committee where four prizes are offered every year including Mathiesen Prize for the best written submission and the Ryan Prize for the best visual arts submission.
